Training Needs Analysis

Management

Prior to carrying out a Training Needs Analysis a presentation is given to the senior management. This consisted of an overview of Microsoft Office. The main focus of this presentation is to demonstrate how, with some training in the basic principles of Microsoft Office Programs users can work with much greater, ease, confidence and efficiency.

Following this presentation, dates are fixed to enable each person in the company to be interviewed and their training needs established.

This Training Needs Analysis is to establish the personal training required to improve all employees in their confidence and efficiency when using Microsoft Office in their day to day work.

Managers are asked how they see their staff in a work environment and what training that they feel their staff require. It is good to find so much agreement among staff. In nearly all cases staff feel that they needed training in the same areas that the Managers indicated.

Method

Informal conversational methods are employed mainly on a one-to-basis. This put the employee at ease in a non-threatening or testing way. The majority of interviewees respond to this very well.
